Smoke Ring beginning

Here's the next project I've started, a smoke ring from Heartstrings.

I'm using the JagerSpun yarn I showed previously. The yarn is finer than the designer used in her smoke ring, and I'm trying to decide if I like the lace weight or if I want to use a fingering-weight yarn instead. Opinions??
