Mystery Stole 3 blocked

I finally got off my duff and blocked my mystery stole today.

Here it is blocking.

And my wonderful hubby took a pic of the shawl in action:

I love the shawl! The wing is a really cool feature and I'm so glad I followed the pattern.

-------------------

Tonight at Panera I finished the Spring Things Shawl that I started two weeks ago. Two weeks exactly start to finish. It's a little on the small side but I used smaller needles than called for. Between what's left of the first ball of Zephyr and the other two ounces I can probably get a much bigger shawl so I 'll probably make another of these. It was a fun, quick pattern. I'll try to block it tomorrow and post some pictures.

-------------------

My mom sent me some beautiful roving but I haven't taken any pictures yet--it's been really windy outside and I was worried that it would blow away! Maybe tomorrow.

Happy knitting (or whatever)!

Wow Kat, it's gorgeous! You do such fabulous lace work. I hope you bring it to Guild next month so I can drool over it. Uh, well, maybe just fondle it, okay? Loretta

Your MS3 is beautiful! Isn't the Spring Things shawl a fun knit? I managed to get mine done in 2 weeks as well and I was so surprised. Well, until the point I blocked it out and saw how small it was. ;-)

The MS3 is strange looking, while blocking, but it's beautiful when worn. Congrats, it looks great!

Kat,
How did you fare at the fair???

And are you over the Fifth Disease you caught? I read about this when my kids were little but they never got it--it is just not fair that the adults sometimes get their kids' sicknesses, esp. since it's our job to take care of them, and whose job is it to take care of us??? Fortunately you have a forward thinking husband, but it's still not easy to lie down and take it easy!
Best,
Stacie

Your MS3 is gorgeous! :o) I am excited to see what yours looks like since mine is a similar color. I stopped at clue 4 and had not decided yet what I was going to do. It's nice to see it on a real person and not just on the floor blocking! LOL It looks great on you! Now I hope you get to go somewhere fun with your hubby where you can wear it!
